FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What’s a pet sitter?
A pet sitter is a contracted service provider
who takes care of a pet or other animal at its own home.
Why are your prices so high?
We provide your pet the highest standard of care unlike many providers on pet sitting platforms. Each of us has a long background in animal welfare and has extensive knowledge of dogs’ and cats’ special needs and are suited to take care of, for example, special needs rescue dogs. We provide a level of care not available through your normal petsitter. We also want to underline that our service is for people and their pets who appreciate and understand what goes into good pet care, and won’t just pick anyone without proper trust and understanding.
Why use professional pet sitters?
For the Pet
Staying at home in a secure environment
Following regular diet and exercise routine
Having play time
Receiving love and personal attention
Providing required medical attention by administrating medications, if needed
Having someone responsible in case of an emergency
No "travel trauma" to pets because they do not need to be transported anywhere
For the Owner
Knowing that their pet is in caring, loving hands
Having the confidence that the pet sitter can deal with other needs - such as grooming, vet visits
Not having to impose on family, friends or neighbours
Knowing that your home is secure (with someone going in and out frequently)
